O R D E R

This Criminal Original petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to complete the investigation in Crime No.23 of 2015 on the file of the second respondent herein, and to file final report before the competent Judicial Magistrate within a time frame as may be fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents.

3. On the basis of the complaint received from the petitioner,

a cases was registered by the second respondent in Crime no.23 of 2015 for the offences under Sections 406, 420, 294(b) and 506(i) I.P.C.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that though the complaint was registered in the month of October, 2015, there is no progress and that therefore, the petitioner is constrained to file this Criminal Original petition.

5. The learned Government Advocate(Criminal Side) on instructions submitted that the investigation is almost over and that the respondents will be in a position to file Charge Sheet within a period of three months.

6. Recording the said statement of the learned Government Advocate(Criminal Side), the Criminal Original petition is allowed and the second respondent is directed to expedite the investigation and to file final report before the concerned Judicial Magistrate within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
