Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.06.2015 and 10.03.2018 seeking to issue patta to the land Survey Nos.582/4A1, 582/4C situated at Sankarankovil ward-B, Block 54 Tirunelveli District within the period stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

According to the petitioner, he is in possession and enjoyment of the property in Survey Nos.582/4A1, 582/4C situated at Sankarankovil ward-B, Block 54, Tirunelveli District, and earlier a patta was also granted in his name. Subsequently, some third parties by using forged documents transferred the patta in their names. By an application dated 26.06.2014, the second respondent cancelled the patta granted in the name of the third parties. In the above circumstances, the petitioner made a representation to the third respondent to issue patta in his name. But, so far no order has been passed, hence, the present writ petition has been filed. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, since the petitioner's representation is pending with the third respondent, without going into the merits of the case, the third respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation, and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the petitioner as well as the rival claimants, if any, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
