PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code praying this Court to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate No.V, Madurai to complete the committal proceedings pending in P.R.C.No.2 of 2011 within the time limit fixed by this Court. ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C.praying this Court to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate No.V, Madurai to complete the committal proceedings pending in P.R.C.No.2 of 2011 within the time limit fixed by this Court. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the Petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent/State and perused the records.

3.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) would submit that some of the accused could not be traced out in view of the issuance of Non Bailable Warrant against them.

4.In view of the said submission, the respondent Police is directed to take appropriate steps to secure the accused and the entire exercise shall be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If the accused is unable to trace out, the learned Judicial Magistrate is directed to split their case and do the committal insofar as the other accused are concerned. 5.With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
