O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to quash the impugned notice issued by the third respondent proceedings in 2025/0154/24/011758/24/011758 dated 06.02.2026 and consequently to direct the second respondent to conduct the survey and file the report in respect of Old S.F.No.1/2A1 part 1/2A1, new T.S.No.38 and 39 situated at Karuthapuliyampatti Village, Block 6, Ward D, Melur Town, Melur Taluk, Madurai District and to direct the first respondent to pass final order in respect of rectification of mistake of patta and other revenue records in respect of Old S.F.No. 2/6

1/2A1 part /2A1, New T.S.No.38 and 39 situated at Karuthapuliyampatti Village, Block 6, Ward D, Melur Town, Melur Taluk, Madurai District, in the light of the order in W.P.(MD).No.5326 of 2025 dated 27.02.2025

2. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. Since no adverse orders are going to be passed against the respondents 4 to 6, notice to the respondents 4 to 6 is hereby dispensed with.

4. The writ petitioner earlier filed writ petition in W.P. (MD).No.5326 of 2025 seeking a direction to the concerned authorities to rectify the mistakes occurred in the patta and FMB in S.F.No.38 and S.F.No.39, Karthapuliyampatti Village, Block 6, Ward D, Melur Town, Melur Taluk, Madurai District in respect of the extent and issue patta and FMB of the correct extent of 1488 sq. ft., as per the petitioner's sale deeds dated 31.07.2009, 05.05.2010 and 07.01.2011 by considering the petitioner's representation dated 10.02.2025. This Court, while disposing of that writ petition vide order dated 27.02.2025, directed the Revenue 3/6

Divisional Officer to consider the petitioner's application and thereafter, conduct survey.

5. The grievance of the petitioner is that the issue regarding the extent of the petitioner's land, which is lesser area, is now pending before the Revenue Divisional Officer.

6. The learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents 1 to 3 submitted that, since the issue relating to the petitioner's land is now pending before the RDO, the survey can be conducted only after the proceedings are concluded by the RDO.

7. Recording the aforesaid submissions, this Court directs the first respondent/RDO to conclude the pending proceedings, as directed by this Court in W.P.(MD) No. 5326 of 2025, dated 27.02.2025. Thereafter, the second respondent is directed to consider the applications of the sixth respondent and the petitioner herein for survey. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of four weeks from the date of conclusion of the proceedings pending before the RDO 4/6

8. With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected writ miscellaneous petitions are closed.
