Seeking a direction to the first respondent for early disposal of the appeal filed by the petitioner on 28.03.2019, this writ petition has been filed.
2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for respondents. By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission.
3.The case of the petitioner is that he filed an appeal before the first respondent on 28.03.2019, challenging the order of the second respondent dated 30.07.2018, imposing the punishment of 'compulsory retirement' against him and the same is pending without getting disposal till date. Hence, this writ petition has been filed.

4.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the appeal will be disposed of within a time limit to be fixed by this Court. 5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also having regard to the submissions made on either side, this Court, directs the first respondent to dispose of the appeal dated 28.03.2019, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. 6.The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
