3. The grievance of the petitioner is that the subject property belongs to eleven members of the petitioner's family, including the petitioner and his relatives. However, the said property was subdivided as Survey No.269/1A1 and patta was issued in the names of the fourth to seventh respondents. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 16.10.2024 to the first respondent seeking cancellation of the subdivision and issuance of joint patta in their names. The first respondent, vide proceedings dated 29.10.2024, directed the second respondent to enquire into the matter and submit a report. Thereafter, no further action has been taken. Hence, the petitioner has been constrained to file the present Writ Petition.
4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the first to third respondents, on instructions, would submit that the enquiry on the petitioner's representation dated 16.10.2024 would be concluded and appropriate orders would be passed by the first respondent within a period of eight weeks.
5. Recording the above submission and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a Page No. 3 of 5
direction to the first respondent to conclude the enquiry on the petitioner's representation dated 16.10.2024 and pass appropriate orders on its merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The first respondent is also directed to provide a reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, the private respondents and any other interested parties who may be affected by such decision, before passing any order. There shall be no order as to costs.
