ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side. This writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself by consent of both parties.

2.The petitioner was appointed as a Driver in the respondent corporation. He was implicated in a criminal case. He was also convicted. But, the conviction was set aside in Crl.A No.297 of 2009 by this Court on 08.10.2010. The judgement of acquittal had become final.

The petitioner was however sought to be departmentally proceeded against. But, till date, the proceedings had not concluded. The petitioner was also not provided with subsistence allowance. He had submitted a representation dated 27.06.2017 in this regard. But, there was no response from the respondent management. Therefore, this writ petition has been filed.

3.The respondents are therefore directed to conclude the pending enquiry initiated against the petitioner and also communicate the result of the action to the petitioner within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
