Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court Directing the respondents to complete the construction work of underground drainage system and roads in Karaikudi Town within a stipulated time as fixed by this Honourable Court by considering the pettiioners representation dated 12-08-2019.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.) This contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner on the ground that the time limit fixed by this Court has been breached.

2.Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that the time limit has been given during the period when there was no pandemic and now the petitioner has also been informed that the project will be completed before the end of June, 2021.

3.In such view of the matter, the Contempt Petition stands closed, as we do not find any wilful default committed. However, the submissions made by the learned counsel for the respondent is recorded.
