Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents herein to survey the petitioner's property in Plot No.34, Survey No.19/3, situated at Nelmudikarai, Thiruppuvanam Group, Manamadurai Taluk (now Thiruppuvanam Taluk), Sivagangai District and grant patta in favour of the petitioner based on the petitioner's representation dated 19.11.2014 within a stipulated time fixed by this Court. ORDER

The petitioner wants the petition mentioned lands to be surveyed and measured.

2.The respondents are directed to conclude the survey exercise. If the respondents encounter any resistance, they shall relegate the writ petitioner to move the competent Civil Court. If there is no resistance or opposition, the survey exercise should be completed within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If the opposition is without any basis, the survey authority is at liberty to take the assistance of the jurisdictional police.
