Respondents PRAYER : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents herein to pay pension taking into account the service of the petitioner with effect from the date of Provident Fund contribution received (01.10.1984) by the 2nd respondent on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 21.03.2019 and consequently the respondents to give all other monitory benefits to the petitioners.

ORDER
Seeking a direction to the respondents to pay pension with effect from 01.10.1984 and consequently settle all other monetary benefits, based on the petitioner's representation dated 21.03.2019, this writ petition has been filed.
2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents. By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission.
3.The grievance of the petitioner is that he made a representation to the respondents on 21.03.2019, seeking to grant pension taking into account the service of the petitioner with effect from 01.10.1984 and other consequential monetary benefits. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Since the same has not been considered so far, this writ petition has been filed.
4.The learned Standing Counsel for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the representation of the petitioner would be considered on merits.
5.In view of the above submission, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 21.03.2019 with regard to grant of pension and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.
6.The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
