O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by G.K.ILANTHIRAIYAN, J.) This Habeus Corpus Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to produce the person or body of the petitioner's husband namely Arumugam, S/o.Maran aged about 68 years before this Court and set him at liberty.

2. The petitioner is the wife of the detenue. The detenue was missing from the house from 27.11.2025, therefore the petitioner lodged complaint before the second respondent and the same has been registered in crime No.320 of 2025 under 'Man Missing'. On instructions, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that after detailed enquiry and also on verification of 58 CCTV footages the whereabouts of the missing person is not known. That apart the missing person is aged about 56 years.

3. In view of the same, the petition stands dismissed. However the second respondent Police is directed to complete the investigation and file final report within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
