ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by G.R.SWAMINATHAN, J.) Heard both sides.

2. The first respondent herein is a minority institution. One SR.M.Rajathi was appointed as BT Assistant (Maths) on 01.11.2014. On 06.01.2016, the school submitted proposal to approve the appointment. The proposal was rejected on the ground that the teacher had not acquired TET qualification. Hence, the school management filed W.P.(MD)No.17857 of 2020. The writ petition was allowed on 15.12.2020. Challenging the same, this writ appeal has been filed.

3. It is well settled that the teacher working in the minority institution need not possess TET. The order impugned in this writ appeal is sustained.

4. The writ appeal is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
