ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to the impugned order passed by the second respondent in Na.ka.No.03/Kaa/Aa/Thiruppu/2023, dated 10.02.2023 and quash the same consequently, directing the second respondent to grant permission for conducting 6th Kabadi Tournament schedule to be held on 25.02.2023 and 26.02.2023 in the name of the "Vino Ninaivu Kabadi Kulu"at Konthagai Village, Sivagangai District.

2. Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that in the years 2010 and 2011, two murders took place in that locality with regard to conduct Kabadi Tournament, 2/5

still the cases are pending before the trial Court. He would further submit that based on the above said fact, the petitioner's representation has been rejected on 10.02.2023.

4. At this juncture, the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner would submit that after the above said occurrence, there is no issue in the said village on the event of Kabadi Tournament. He would further submit that for the past five years, they are conducting Kabadi tournament smoothly.

5. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that for the past five years, no permission was granted to the petitioner, without permission the above said Tournament was conducted.

6. I have considered the submission of the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

7. In view of the above, the second respondent is directed to issue summons to the parties, who have invovled in the above said issue and 3/5

depending upon the out come of the enquiry, further action may be taken. The above said process shall be completed within a period of ten days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

8. With the above directions, this Writ Petition dismissed. No costs.
