Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to take appropriate action as against the respondents 4 to 8 for registration of fraudulent document vide its Document No.1860 of 2019, dated 20.05.2019 and Document No.4155 of 2019, dated 17.10.2019 registered at Sub Registrar Office, Usilampatti, Madurai District based on the petitioner's representation, dated 22.01.2025 and pass such further or other orders as this Court. ORDER
The present petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to take appropriate action as against the respondents 4 to 8 for registration of fraudulent document vide its Document No.1860 of 2019, dated 20.05.2019 and Document No.4155 of 2019, dated 17.10.2019 registered at Sub Registrar Office, 2/6
Usilampatti, Madurai District based on the petitioner's representation, dated 22.01.2025.
2. According to the petitioner, the respondents 4 to 8 created the forged documents and thereby, the petitioner sent a representation to the respondents 1 to 3 on 22.01.2025 but they have not considered the representation. Therefore, the petitioner filed this petition.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the official respondents would submit that they received the complaint and the same is under enquiry by the District Crime Branch, Madurai. After enquiry, they will dispose of the representation of the petitioner in accordance with law within one week.
4. The learned Counsel appearing for the respondents 4 to 8 private respondents seeks adjournment to file counter. Considering the limited scope of prayer sought for in this petition, this Court is inclined to dispose this petition at the admission stage itself. 3/6

Considering the nature of prayer sought for in this petition and the official respondents also admitted the receipt of complaint from the petitioner and the same is under enquiry by the District Crime Branch, Madurai, it is for the District Crime Branch, Madurai to enquire the matter and dispose the same after affording opportunity to both the parties.
6. In view of the same, this Court directs the first respondent to instruct the District Crime Branch, Madurai to dispose the representation of the petitioner, dated 22.01.2025, within 15 days from the date of this order, after affording opportunity to both the parties in accordance with law.
7. With the above said observations and directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. 20.02.2025 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes BTR 4/6
