[Order of the Court was made by C.T.SELVAM, J.] The petitioner seeks a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to implement the Grama Sabha Resolution dated 26.01.2018 of Valayankulam Panchayat, Thirupparankundram Taluk, Madurai District, by considering the representation dated 13.04.2018 within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court.

2. The petitioner, who is stated to be a resident of Valayankulam Village, Thirupparankundram Taluk, Maduari District, has submitted a representation dated 13.04.2018, before the respondent to implement the Grama Sabha Resolution dated 26.01.2018 of Valayankulam Panchayat, Thirupparankundram Taluk, Madurai District. The said representation, till date, remains unanswered.

3. We have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondent.

4. Mr.M.Rajarajan, learned Government Advocate for the respondent, on instructions, informs that the representation of the petitioner dated 13.04.2018 will be considered by the respondent on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame, that may be fixed by this Court.

Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 13.04.2018 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the outcome of the representation of the petitioner shall be intimated to him. No costs.
