[Order of the Court was made by M.DURAISWAMY, J.] The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a writ of certiorarified mandamus calling for the records relating to the impugned order passed by the first respondent in his proceedings dated 14.02.2020.

2. It is the case of the petitioner he was issued with a show-cause notice dated 07.01.2020, for which, he has given an explanation on 13.01.2020. But, not satisfied with the explanation given by him, the first respondent has issued a charge memo dated 14.02.2020, for which, he has given his explanation on 24.02.2020.

3. The charges were framed as per Section 17(a) of the Tamil Nadu Civil Services (Discipline and Appeal) Rules and it is for the Disciplinary Authority to take a decision with regard to the charges framed and the explanation given by the petitioner. We are not inclined to interfere with the proceedings initiated against the petitioner. In such view of the matter, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
