ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, thereby quashing the impugned order passed by the third respondent in his proceedings in Na.Ka.No.40/B1PS/TVBR dated 28.02.2021 and to direct the respondents to permit the petitioner to conduct Kabadi Tournament on 13.03.2021 to 14.03.2021 in the name of the Edwin Memorial Club in Madhakovil Street at Thiruverumbur Taluk, Trichy District.

2.On the side of the petitioner, it is stated that a direction may be issued to the respondents to give permission for conducting kabadi tournament on 13.03.2021 to 14.03.2021 in the name of the Edwin Memorial Club in Madhakovil Street at Thiruverumbur Taluk, Trichy District.

3.On the side of the respondents, it is stated that as per G.O.Ms.No.654 of 2020, Revenue and Disaster Management (DM-IV) https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD)No.5012 of 2021 Department, Dated 21.11.2020, the Collector is the authority to give permission for conducting cultural programme. 4.In view of the above submissions, the petitioner is hereby directed to send a representation to the first respondent. On such representation, the first respondent is at liberty to pass an order in accordance with the situation prevailing in that locality. 5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
