ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the second respondent to issue quality control certificate to enable the petitioner to participate in the tender process in tender notification No.12/2017-2018/Mu.Va.A dated 24.11.2017 issued by the 1st respondent by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 21.12.2017.

2.Heard Mr.S.Sankar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Govindan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3.According to the petitioner, he has filed an application dated 21.12.2017 seeking quality control certificate. Pursuant to the same, the second respondent has also inspected the machineries on 02.01.2018. However, the second respondent has not issued quality control certificate so far. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the second https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 21.12.2017 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, on or before 10.01.2018.

5.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, W.M.P.(MD)Nos.65 and 66 of 2018 are closed.
