This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the third respondent not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

2.Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the respective parties.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondents 1 & 2, on instructions, submitted that based on the complaint preferred by the fourth respondent / de-facto complainant, enquiry was conducted. On enquiry, it was found that the de-facto complainant's husband, namely, one Vadivel @ John Paul, who is the son of the petitioner herein, is in abroad. During the course of enquiry, due to the intervention of family elders, the de-facto complainant has agreed to close the complaint for the present by receiving a sum of Rs.3,000/- per month from her husband's parents, viz., the petitioner herein and his wife, until her husband, viz., Vadivel @ John Paul returns from abroad. closure report and would submit that there is no harassment at the hands of the official respondents, as alleged by the petitioner. 4.Recording the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
