ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the second respondent to complete the proceedings which is proceedings before the second respondent by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 17.08.2017. 2.Heard Mr.T.Senthil Kumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.Aayiram K.Selvakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. 3.According to the petitioner, the first respondent has initiated a land acquisition proceedings and acquired the land of the petitioner in S.No.892/2, Vangai Village, under road development scheme.
Subsequently, the petitioner made an https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
application before the second respondent for an employment in lieu of the land acquired from the petitioner. Pursuant to the same, an enquiry has been conducted by the Tahsildar and he has called for report from other officers on 27.10.2017. However, no final order has been passed. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.
4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the fact that the Tahsildar has initiated enquiry proceedings, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 17.08.2017 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
