This petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the respondent police to expedite the investigation and file the final report in connection with Crime No. 37 of 2023 dated 12.08.2023 on the file of the respondent 1/3

police.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal) appearing for the respondent would submit that already they have completed the investigation and filed the final report before the Judicial Magistrate- I, Madurai and the same has been taken on file by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I in C.C.No.85 of 2005. Therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication.

3. Since the prayer of the petitioner is to complete the investigation and to file the final report, the respondent police has also filed the final report before the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Madurai, therefore nothing survives for further adjudication. In view of the same, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
