ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for Writ of Mandamus, to direct the second respondent to grant regular electricity service to the petitioner's building bearing Door No.57/1, Attur Road, in ADW Colony, Thuraiyur, Trichy District.

2. On instructions, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner has not submitted the completion certificate.

3. Since this writ petition is filed in the 2021, the present position ought to be ascertained. Therefore the petitioner is directed to submit fresh application through online. On receipt of the same, the respondents shall carry out spot inspection and thereafter consider the case of the petitioner. If the claim of the petitioner is as per law, the respondents shall grant the electricity connection to the petitioner. The respondents shall consider the case of the petitioner after receipt of the application, within a period of three weeks (3) from the date of receipt of the petitioner's application.

4. With these observations and directions, this Writ Petition is allowed. There shall be no order as to costs.
