ORDER

Heard both sides.

2. The petitioner is an Indian citizen. However, he is working as parotta master in Malaysia for the past 25 years. The petitioner came down to India for 1/3

renewal of his passport. The authorities then noted that the petitioner has given two different dates of birth. Therefore, his passport has not been renewed.

3. The petitioner is directed to appear before the respondent on 04.04.2024 at 3.00 PM and submit the extract from the register maintained by the Church concerned, which obviously must indicate the petitioner's date of birth. While renewing the petitioner's passport, the said date of birth shall be incorporated. The respondent is directed to renew the petitioner's passport and issue the same.

4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is allowed. There shall be no order as to costs.
