This petition has been filed to direct the respondent herein to grant permission and to provide police protection to conduct the "Aadalum Paadalum (Nadanam-Natiyam) dance programme on 29.01.2018 in pursuant to the Kumbabishegam of Arulmigu Mariamman Thirukoil, situated at Thalugaibatahrpettai Village, Thuraiyur Taluk, Trichy District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 09.01.2018.

2.Heard, Mr.P.T.Ramesh Raja, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Shanmugaselvam, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that every year the village people are celebrating the festival by conducting the programs such as 'Adal Padal'' , likewise, on https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

29.01.2018, also they decided to celebrate the festival at the above said place and for that, they have already given a representation dated 09.01.2018 to the respondent and no order has been passed till now.

4.The learned Additional Government Pleader has not raised any serious objection.

5.Considering the above said submission, the respondent/ Inspector of Police, is directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner, dated 09.01.2018 and dispose of the same on or before 20.01.2018.

6.With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
