ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for an alleged offence punishable under Sections 294(b), 506(ii) of IPC and Section 4 of TNPWH Act in Crime No.230 of 2014, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) appearing for the respondent.

3. It is seen that the allegations against the petitioner are very serious in nature and inasmuch as this petitioner along with other accused after consuming liquor had threatened the defacto complainant lady with beer bottle.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that co-accused have been arrested and released on bail.

5. This Court is of the view that the same cannot be a reason to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Therefore, in view of the serious allegations against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
