ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of Mandamus, to direct the first respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation, dated 19.03.2019 within the time stipulated by this Court.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

that seeking to treat the termination period viz., from 11.05.1988 to 12.10.1993 as duty period, the petitioner sent a representation, dated 19.03.2019, to the respondents. Since the same has not been considered so far, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition.

4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the representation of the petitioner would be considered on merits.

5.In view of the above, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 19.03.2019 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
