O R D E R

This petition is filed for a direction to the respondent to take action in accordance with the Order of the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court No.1, Kuzhithurai, dated 07.07.2017 and then submit a report as expeditiously as possible. 2.By order dated 07.07.2017, the learned Judicial First Class Magistrate No.1, directed the respondent herein to investigate the matter as per law and report the same before the Court on or before 04.08.2017.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent, on instructions, submitted that the report has been filed on 07.09.2017 and that therefore, this Criminal Original Petition may be closed.

4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that to his knowledge, no such report is filed. Even if the report is not filed or taken on file, the respondent is directed to see that the report is filed and acted upon, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The learned counsel for the petitioner seeks indulgence of this Court to direct the respondent to provide a copy of the report. Since the petitioner is pursuing this for a public cause, a copy of the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

report that is to be submitted to the learned Judicial First Class Magistrate No.1, Kuzhithurai, shall be furnished by the respondent to the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
