R.SUBRAMANIAN,J AND N.SATHISH KUMAR,J The petitioner seeks production of the person of his son Suresh, aged about 33 years.

2. Admittedly, the said Suresh was working in Singapore. Mr.T.Senthil Kumar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, upon instructions, would submit that the detenu had returned to India on 03.12.2021. He landed at Meenambakkam Airport and has gone missing thereafter. The Immigration authorities have informed the police that the detenu has landed in Meenambakkam on the said date.

3. In view of the above, we do not see any reason to keep this habeas corpus petition pending. It is open to the petitioner to lodge a complaint in Meenambakkam Police Station and pursue the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

H.C.P.(MD) No.394 of 2022 same in the manner known to law. If any such complaint is made, the jurisdictional police shall take all efforts to secure the detenu.
