ORDER

P.N.PRAKASH, J., Heard the learned counsel appearing for the respective parties.

2. The case of the petitioner is that the respondents 1 to 3 are likely to give permission to the fourth respondent to open a TASMAC shop in Dombuchery Village, Bodinayackanur Taluk, Theni District in S.No.205/1, near the bus stop and therefore, this writ petition, as a public interest litigation, has been filed for a Mandamus to restrain the authorities from giving permission for opening the TASMAC shop.

3. Mr.B.Jameel Arasu, learned Standing Counsel for the third respondent submitted that there is no proposal by the authorities to open a TASMAC shop in S.No.205/1, as contended by the petitioner.

4. In such view of the matter, recording the submission made by the learned Standing Counsel for the third respondent, this writ petition stands closed. No costs.
