ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the second respondent to initiate necessary action to measure and mark four boundaries for the patta No.1775 which includes the Survey Nos. 455/6 and 476/1 of the Kothaiurumbu village by considering the representation of the petitioner, dated 04.12.2017. 2.Heard Mr.D.Selvaraj, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.Aayiram K.Selvakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. 3.According to the petitioner, he is the owner of the property in Survey Nos.455/6 and 476/1, Kothaiurumbu Village. The petitioner has submitted an application dated 04.12.2017 before the second respondent seeking to survey the land and fix boundaries. Since no action has been taken so far, the present writ petition has been filed.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the fact that the petitioner only seeks to measure his land by fixing boundaries, the second respondent is directed to measure the property in question as per the revenue records, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner as well as to the interested parties, if any.

5.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
