PRAYER : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant free house to the petitioner at Rasakkur, Madurai District or at any other place. 2.It is seen from the records that the petitioner had made a representation before the first respondent seeking for free house on the ground that she is a physically disabled person and is suffering from penury. The application was submitted on the grievance day to the District Collector. The District Collector /first respondent had directed the second respondent to act upon the same and take a decision. The grievance of the petitioner is that till date, there has been no response from the second respondent. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court. 3.Taking into consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case and without going into the merits of the matter, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to respond to the representation made by the petitioner dated 16.02.2021 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
