ORDER
The petitioners sought for quashing of the impugned FIR in Crime No. 225 of 2015 on the file of the first respondent police, for the alleged offences under Sections 147, 294(b), 323, 452, 427 and 506 (ii) IPC.
2. The allegation against the petitioners is that due to money dispute, the petitioners had abused the defacto complainant in filthy language and attacked him and also threatened him with dire consequences.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned counsel for the defacto complainant/the second respondent would submit that the parties have now entered into a compromise on the advise of the elders and well-wishers and both the parties have agreed that the impugned F.I.R may be quashed.
4. The parties have also filed a joint compromise memo dated 21st February 2025. The scanned copy of the compromise memo reads as follows: 2/7

5. The petitioners and the second respondent (Aadhaar No.4570 2253 7411) are present before this Court in person. They are identified by Mr.S.Karthikeyan, S.S.I., Natham Police Station. Both the parties confirmed the compromise arrived at between them.

Considering the nature of the allegations, the relationship between the the parties, who have arrived at a compromise, this Court is of the view that no useful purpose would be served by keeping the impugned FIR pending investigation. Accordingly, the impugned FIR in Crime No. 586 of 2024 on the file of the first respondent police, is hereby quashed as against all the accused and the Criminal Original Petition stands allowed. 12.09.2025 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes/ No LS To 1.The Inspector of Police, Natham Police Station, Dindigul District.
