Respondent Prayer: This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records to list OT of Posts Included in Combined Civil Services Examination - II (Interview Posts) (Group II Services) 2014-2015 & 2015-2016 in so far as Annexure rejecting the petitioner's Registration No.250108067 dated 04.01.2018 and quash the same consequently directing the respondent to permit the petitioner for oral test to be conducted from 22.01.2018 to 19.02.2018 at the office of the respondent herein. ORDER
The petitioner was a candidate who applied in response to the direct recruitment notification issued by the respondent commission for filling up the vacancies for Group - II Posts for the year 2014-2015 & 2015-2016. The writ petitioner has mentioned his medium of instruction as Tamil. Therefore, the respondent commission thinking the petitioner falls under the category of PSTM called upon the writ petitioner to attend the certificate verification stage. There it was noted that the writ petitioner does not fall in the PSTM category. He falls only under the General category. Therefore, the petitioner was not called for Oral Test. This was also duly published in the Web site of the respondent commission. Challenging the same, this writ petition has been filed. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 2.Mr.D.Sivaraman, the learned standing counsel appearing for
the respondent commission had obtained written instructions in the matter. It has been stated by the Secretary of the respondent commission that since the writ petitioner did not reach the zone of consideration under BC(G) category for admission to Oral Test, he was not called for the Oral Test.
3.When this Court wanted to know the marks secured by the writ petitioner, it was informed that the same will be announced only after the entire selection process is over. The learned standing counsel for the respondent corporation undertakes to inform the writ petitioner about the marks secured by him. If the writ petitioner is still having any grievance, the right of the writ petitioner to challenge the recruitment process in the manner known to law is preserved.
4.With this observation, the writ petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are also dismissed.
