O R D E R

This Criminal Original petition is filed for quashing the First Information Report in Crime No.2 of 2017 pending on the file of the Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Sivakasi, Virudhunagar District in so far as the petitioners are concerned.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate(Criminal side) appearing for the second respondent.

3. On the basis of the complaint given by the first respondent, it is stated that a case was registered in Crime No.2 of 2017, dated 22.03.2017, for the offences under Sections 498(A) I.P.C., and Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

4. The learned Government Advocate(Criminal Side) however on instructions submitted that investigation was completed and final report was also filed and it was taken on file in C.C.No.332 of 2017 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Sivakasi.

5. Recording the said submission of the learned Government Advocate(Criminal Side), the Criminal Original petition is closed. However, liberty is given to the petitioners to work out their remedy in accordance with law. It is also open to the petitioners to challenge the Charge Sheet in C.C.No.332 of 2017 which is pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Sivakasi. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous petition is closed.
