: Respondents PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to ensure that the inscriptions in Perumal Temple, Sendamangalam Village, Illupur Taluk, Pudukkottai District to be restored to its original form by making suitable arrangements and direct the respondents to take appropriate action against those responsible for causing damage to the inscriptions.

2. In the opinion of this Court, the prayer sought for in this Writ Petition cannot be considered, as these are all aspects, which have to be looked into by the Archaeological Survey of India.
