This petition has been filed to direct the respondents to grant permission and necessary police protection to conduct the "Kabadi Tournament" on 20.01.2018 and 21.01.2018 till 10.00 p.m., in communal ground at N.Sathanur, under the flood light. 2.Heard, Mr.A.Azhageson, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Shanmugaselvam, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the village people are conducting the 'Kabadi Tournament' on 20.01.2018 and 21.01.2018 till 10.00 p.m., they decided to celebrate the festival at the aforesaid place and for that, they have already given a representation on 02.01.2018 to the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

respondents and no order has been passed till now. 4.The learned Government Advocate has not raised any serious objection.

5.Considering the above said submission, the second respondent/ Inspector of Police, is directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 02.01.2018 and dispose of the same on or before 18.01.2018.

6.With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
