O R D E R

The Criminal Original Petition is filed to call for the records in C.C.No.99 of 2012, pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Ramanathapuram and quash the same. 2 The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that even though he filed this petition to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.99 of 2012, which was pending on the file learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Ramanathapuram, now, he restricted his relief only in respect of early disposal stating that already PW.1 to PW.3 were examined and he wants some direction to be given to the Trial Court. He would further submit that totally 12 witnesses, out of 13, were examined and the other witnesses are official witnesses. Hence, he prayed for early disposal of C.C.No.92 of 2012, pending on the file of learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Ramanathapuram.

3. Heard the learned counsels appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the first respondent.

Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and also considering the fact that the petitioner has restricted his prayer for early disposal, it is a fit case for giving direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Ramanathapuram, to dispose of the case within a period of two months.

5. Accordingly, the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Ramanathapuram, is directed to dispose of the above said C.C.No.92 of 2012, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
