O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, seeking a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation in Crime No.8 of 2016 and file final report.

2.The petitioner herein is the accused in Crime No.8 of 2016 on the file of the respondent police for the offence under Section 13(1)(b) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that even though the First Information Report was registered as early as on 10.11.2016, so far, no final report has been filed. Hence, the present petition has been filed. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that entire investigation is over and the Investigating Agency is awaiting for order of sanction from the appropriate authorities and as soon as sanction order is received, final report will be filed before the Court concerned.

5.Considering the above submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the respondent police is directed to file final report within a period of one month, after getting sanction order from the appropriate authority. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

6.This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
