[Order of the Court was made by B.PUGALENDHI, J.] The petitioner has filed this writ petition in the nature of a public interest litigation challenging the selection list of candidates for the Post Graduate Course in medicine for the academic year 2019-2020, dated 02.04.2019, released by the Selection Committee, Directorate of Medical Education. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that there are several infirmities in the selection process. 3.

Per contra, Mr.K.Chellapandian, learned Additional Advocate General, assisted by Mr.A.K.Baskara Pandian, learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents, brought to the notice of this Court Paragraph No.8 of G.O.Ms.No.86, Health and Family Welfare Department, dated 06.03.2019, wherein, it is stated that the awarding of marks and other criteria have been gone into by a Committee headed by Mr.Justice A.Selvam (Retired).

Be that as it may, in our considered opinion, a public interest litigation challenging the selection process is not maintainable, since the petitioner has nothing to do with the selection process and is completely an outsider. Hence, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
