appoint them as Lecturers in Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department in the permanent vacant posts in the 3rd respondent college.

2.Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Counsel appearing for the respective respondents. By Consent, these writ petitions are taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3.The case of the petitioners is that they are working as Lecturers in the 3rd respondent College for the past seven years. However, till date they have not been made permanent. In this connection, they submitted their respective representations dated 13.12.2018 to the respondents seeking to appoint them as permanent Lecturers. Due to non consideration of the representation of the petitioners, they are before this Court, praying for necessary direction to the respondents.

4.The learned Counsel appearing for the respective respondents, on instructions, submitted that the representations of the petitioners would be considered on merits and appropriate orders would be passed by the respondent Nos.1 and 2. 5.Considering the limited nature of the relief sought for by the petitioners, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent Nos.1 and 2, to consider the petitioners' representations dated 13.12.2018 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording opportunity of hearing to the petitioners, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.With the above direction, the writ petitions are disposed of. No costs.
