ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 323 and 506(i) of IPC., and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002, in Crime No. Not Known of 2017, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent, on instructions, would submit that that there was a complaint pending in CSR No.C.G4/26/183/17, against the petitioners and therefore, the alleged threat of arrest or harassment, as alleged by the petitioners herein is not true.

3. At this juncture, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners states that the respondent police is harassing the petitioners, under the guise of enquiry.

4.Hence, the respondent is directed to expedite the enquiry and register the FIR, if necessary, as early as possible and the respondent should not harass the petitioners under the guise of enquiry. The petitioners are directed to co-operate with the enquiry by the respondent.
