ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 01.03.2019 and to include the names of the petitioners forthwith in the panel for promotion to the post of Forest Rangers taking into consideration the service of the petitioners as Foresters.
2.Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioners and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. By Consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3.The case of the petitioners is that they submitted a representation to the respondents seeking to include their names in the panel for promotion to the post of Forest Rangers. Owing to non consideration of the representation of the petitioners, they are before this Court, praying for necessary direction to the respondents.
4.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the representation of the petitioners would be considered on merits and appropriate orders would be passed by the respondents.
5.Considering the limited nature of the relief sought for by the petitioners, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the petitioners' representation dated 01.03.2019 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording opportunity of hearing to the petitioners, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
