This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to grant permission and police protection to conduct Kabbadi Tournament from Saturday 27.01.2018 at 10.00 pm., to Sunday 28.01.2018 at 04.00 pm., situated at Kamarajar Thidal nearby Pillaiyarkovil, Thippanampatti, Tenkasi Taluk, Tirunelveli District.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that every year during Pongal Festival the petitioner conducts https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ Kabadi Tournament. Likewise, in this year also, the petitioner has a

proposal to conduct kabadi Tournament on 27.01.2018 and 28.01.2018 and for that, he gave a representation on 29.12.2017 and 06.01.2018 respectively, to the respondent. But, so far, the said representations has not been considered by the respondent. 3.The learned Government Advocate has submitted that the respondent will consider the petitioner's representations and pass appropriate orders.

4.Considering the aforesaid submission, the respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner and dispose of the same within a week.

5.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
