ORDER

The petitioner wants this Court to direct the second respondent to file the final report in Crime No.533 of 2019 registered on the file of the second respondent police station. 2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) states that when the accused applied for anticipatory bail, the Sessions Court had imposed a condition that the accused should pay a sum of Rs.2,00,000/- to the petitioner herein. The same was sought to be modified. But the modification petition was dismissed. Questioning the same, the accused had moved the Hon'ble Supreme Court by filing SLP No.1153 of 2019. In the said SLP, the Hon'ble Supreme Court had directed that no coercive action should be taken against the accused until further orders.

Crl.O.P(MD)No.3987 of 2020 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) states that in view of the pendency of the matter before the Hon'ble Supreme Court, the second respondent is unable to take any further action. 4.I am of the view that all that the Hon'ble Supreme Court had directed was that the accused should not be arrested during the pendency of the SLP. Interim order passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court does not come in the way of the respondent from completing the investigation and filing the final report. The second respondent is directed to file the final report in the case within a period of six months. This criminal original petition is allowed on these terms. sd- Assistant Registrar(AD-I) // True Copy // / /2020 Sub Assistant Registrar rmi To 1.The Commissioner of Police, O/o.The Commissioner of Police, Madurai City.
