ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to grant the grade pay amount to the petitioner as per Fifth Pay Revision from 2015 by considering his representation dated 19.02.2019.
2.Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent. By Consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
3.The learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is entitled to get a grade pay of Rs.4,200/-. However, he was paid only with a grade pay of Rs.2,450/-. Hence, the petitioner sent a representation to the respondent on 19.02.2019. The non consideration of the representation of the petitioner, has led to the filing of the writ petition with the above prayer 4.The learned Counsel appearing for the respondent, on instructions, submitted that the representation of the petitioner would be considered on merits and appropriate orders would be passed by the respondent.

5.Considering the limited nature of the relief sought for by the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.02.2019 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
