[Order of the Court was made by DR.G.JAYACHANDRAN, J.] Mr.J.Ashok, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents 1 to 4 and Mr.M.S.Jeyakarthik, learned counsel, takes notice for the sixth respondent.
2. On 12.01.2026, a representation was given by the petitioner to the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department to consider the untainted persons and aliens to any party politics for the post of NonHereditary Trustees of Arulmigu Aadhinadhar Alwar Thirukovil, Alwarthirunagari, Thoothukudi District.
3. Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4, on instructions, submitted that the above representation given by the petitioner is under consideration of the authority concerned and
so far, the authority concerned has not appointed any Non-Hereditary Trustee of the said Temple.
4. In view of the above submission of the learned Additional Government Pleader, we are of the view that this writ petition is pre-mature and hence, we are not inclined to entertain this writ petition.
5. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. [G.J., J.] [K.K.R.K., J.] 12.02.2026 NCC :
