After advancing argument at length, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the petition and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.

2.In view of the submission and endorsement made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. The respondent Police is directed to proceed with the investigation and file a final report within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and during investigation, the respondent Police is directed not to harass the petitioner.
