The petitioner seeks production of his wife Ayishabegam, aged about 24 years, who is said to be missing from 21.02.2022.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court.

3. According to the petitioner, though the Police complaint was lodged on 23.02.2022, no action has been taken so far.

4. Mr.A.Thiruvadikumar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, upon instructions, would submit that it is a case of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

H.C.P.(MD) No.349 of 2022 elopement and the wife of the petitioner has eloped with the third respondent. He would also state that a case in Crime No.52 of 2022 has been registered and investigation is going on.

5. The detenue, being a major, she left on her volition. Since there is no case of illegal detention, this Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed. The Police shall pursue the investigation in accordance with law.
