ORDER

This Writ petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to dispose of the petitioner's applications dated 09.08.2017 and 23.08.2017 regarding cancellation of joint patta No.895 in respect of Survey No.134/4, which was sub divided as 134/4A & B, ad-measuring 2.05 acres situated at Malaipatti Village, Aruppukkottai Taluk, Virudhunagar District.

2.Mr.Aayiram K.Selvakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2. By consent, this Writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

stage itself.

3.According to the petitioner, he has filed an application before the first respondent for issuing separate patta and the first respondent has forwarded the same to the second respondent. Thereafter, the second respondent issued a notice for conducting an enquiry, in which, both the petitioner and the third respondent have appeared during the month of December 2017 and thereafter, no order has been passed. Hence, this Writ petition is filed. 4.Considering the fact that already enquiry has been commenced, the second respondent is directed to complete the enquiry, after providing opportunity to the petitioner and also to the third respondent and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
