ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the first respondent to pass appropriate orders recognizing the petitioner as an unobjectionable temporary occupant in Survey No.166/1 Nerpugapatti Village, Karaikudi Taluk, Sivagangai District, by accepting the undertaking letter received by the respondents dated 04.12.2017.

2.Heard Mr.K.K.Kannan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.Aayiraum K.Selvakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 3.According to the petitioner, he is said to be in

possession and enjoyment of Government poramboke land and running a tea stall in S.No.166/1, Nerpugapatti Village. He has also given an undertaking before the Village Administrative Officer and thereafter, the petitioner has also submitted a representation dated 05.01.2018 before the District Collector seeking for leasing out the above property in his favour. Since no order has been passed so far, the present writ petition has been filed. 4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 05.01.2018 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
